François Painchaud
24 years building on the web. A first agency, Webintel, founded in 2002 and sold in 2007. Then CapsuleSEO, which became CodeSpark in 2016, and over 600 projects delivered. I've founded, sold, advised — and I'm still at it today, with more perspective and fewer sleepless nights.
If you ask me to sum up the journey of François Painchaud in one line, I'd say: three tech cycles weathered, plenty of hype ignored, and an obsession with what holds up over time. Today, I'm running three projects that complement each other.
My projects
Kasvu is a growth and AI agency for professional services firms: lawyers, accountants, consultants, specialized practices. monCGO.ca is my Fractional Chief Growth Officer offer, exclusively for digital agency leaders running 5 to 30-person shops. And Henosis, cofounded in November 2024, is a community bridging modern science and ancestral wisdom.
Three principles I learned the hard way and don't budge on: technology should free humans, never replace them. Numbers talk, the rest is noise. And a burned-out entrepreneur makes bad decisions, so I refuse to work 70-hour weeks, on principle and from experience. That's what's let me go 24 years in this craft without burning out.
Outside of work: boxing and Muay Thai 5 to 6 times a week, travel (I've lived five years in Peru, six months in Panama, three months in Italy), and continuous learning.
